জৈব রসায়ন

 ভূমিকা

 হাইড্রোকার্বন ও এর জাতকসমূহকে হাইড্রোকার্বন বলা হয় । রসায়নের যে শাখায় এর পর্যালোচনা করা হয় তাই জৈব রসায়ন। যদিও 1828 সালে বিজ্ঞানী ফ্রেড্রিখ উহলার অ্যামোনিয়াম সায়ানেট থেকে ইউরিয়া প্রস্তুতি পূর্ববর্তী সময় পর্যন্ত রসায়নবিদদের একটা ধারণা ছিল যে, জীবিত বস্তুসমূহ এর রসায়ন জৈব রসায়নের অন্তর্ভুক্ত বিষয়। পরবর্তীতে হাইড্রোকার্বন এর হাইড্রোজেন পরমাণুতে বিভিন্ন গ্রুপ বা মুলক দ্বারা  প্রতিস্থাপন করে বিভিন্ন শ্রেণীর জৈব যৌগ সংশ্লেষ করা হয়েছে। জৈব যৌগের গঠন উপাদান একই হলে তারা একটি সমগোত্রীয় শ্রেণীর অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়। সাধারণত জৈব যৌগের কার্যকরী মূলক কি জানা থাকলে সংশ্লিষ্ট শ্রেণীর ভৌত ও রাসায়নিক ধর্ম গুলি ব্যাখ্যা সহ জৈব যৌগের শ্রেণীবিভাগ, কার্যকরী মূলক,  সমানুতা, জৈব বিক্রিয়ার কৌশল, জৈব যৌগের কার্যকরী মূলক সনাক্তকরণ ও অতি প্রয়োজনীয় প্রাত্যহিক জীবনে ব্যবহার্য পলিমার, ঔষধ, প্যারাসিটামল ডেটল ইত্যাদি সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান নির্ভর আলোচনা করা হয়েছে এই অধ্যায়টিতে। আশাকরি শিক্ষার্থীরা জৈব যৌগ পাঠশেষে উপকৃত হবে।
